AU Instance - Upcoming Scheduled Maintenance Notification Dec 11, 2025 00:00-01:30 AEDT

Dear Customer,

We’re reaching out to inform you of planned scheduled maintenance on the Whispir AU platform. This activity is essential to strengthening the long-term stability, reliability, and scalability of our back-end infrastructure — ensuring Whispir continues to deliver the trusted performance you depend on.


Maintenance window

Date: Thursday, 11th December 2025
Change Window: 00:00 AEDT - 01:30 AEDT
Impact Duration: Up to 30 seconds
Impact Time: Approx. 00:30 AEDT


What to expect

During the maintenance window our in-memory cache systems are being upgraded and, for a brief period of a few seconds during the maintenance window, incoming SMS Delivery Receipts may not be matched to the corresponding outbound message, resulting in some messages remaining in the Sent status on the Whispir platform. Note however that message delivery is not impacted and outgoing messages will be forwarded to the telecommunications provider and delivered to the recipient as normal. The Web portal and API services are not impacted by this maintenance.

If you have critical workloads that depend on confirmation of message delivery during the maintenance window, we recommend arranging an alternative backup service or notifying your customers in advance of the scheduled maintenance.

Extensive precautions have been taken to minimise disruption and ensure a smooth transition. This upgrade represents a key step in our ongoing investment to future-proof the Whispir platform.

This is the second of two scheduled maintenance notifications for the Whispir platform. It is being issued to ensure our Status Page accurately reflects the upcoming maintenance activity and progress across both phases.

As previously communicated, this two-part maintenance is essential to strengthen the long-term stability, reliability, and scalability of our database infrastructure — ensuring Whispir continues to deliver the trusted performance you depend on.

To minimise downtime and reduce the risk of service disruption, the work is being conducted in two sequential phases, each involving a brief 10-minute service interruption.

Date: Wednesday, 3 December 2025

What to Expect
During each window, there will be a brief service interruption affecting access to the Whispir platform (Web and API) and messaging services (SMS, Email, and Voice). Outside these short periods, the platform will remain fully operational.

If you have critical workloads that rely on message delivery during this time, we recommend setting up an alternative backup service or notifying your customers in advance of the planned downtime.

We have taken extensive measures to minimise disruption and ensure a smooth transition. This upgrade forms part of our ongoing investment in future-proofing the Whispir platform to deliver a faster, more reliable, and scalable experience.
